Power Pro fought off stiff competition to be voted Best Braided Line at the recent European Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition (EFTTEX) with new Power Pro Super 8 Slick braid.
This is a nice product. I picked up the Daiwa SP-MH reel case when I visited The Art of Fishing in St Merryn, Cornwall. It’s imported from Japan (no English on the packaging) and the quality shows. It’s a sad fact that Daiwa’s Japanese range of tackle is better than that available on our home shores but it makes this kind of stuff more alluring I suppose.

This was meant to be a happy post about how thrilled we were about the launch of Fish n Tips – a brand new fishing magazine with a fresh, fun approach. Unfortunately I’ve just read the sad news on fntmag.co.uk that the magazine has not managed to secure enough advertising revenue to put the second issue to print.
