Holly Kudos – New Carp & Match Fishing Tackle Brand

A new Chinese tackle manufacturer has been formed and is set to cause a storm in Europe over the next few years. The name – Holly Kudos.

The OEM company has been formed by an alliance of two existing tackle manufacturers; Danyang Holly Fishing, who have been producing carp and match fishing tackle exclusively for European buyers and Dalian Kudos, a manufacturer focused on terminal tackle. Kingpin Reels – T&G Show [part 3]

The Kingpin stand was definitely one of the most attractive at the show. The quality of the merchandise (and the anodising) were second to none.

Centre stage was the limited edition Sterling available in Blood Red/Pearl Black (pictured) or Pearl Black/Blood Red, both of which are equally seductive in appearance. These 4 1/2 inch reels were created to commemorate the company’s 25th anniversary and boy have they made something to be proud of. First look at new Daiwa TD-X Fixed Spool Reel

This week, the Angling Times gives us an exclusive look at one of the new reels in Daiwa’s 2010 range – the Daiwa TD-X – which looks like the replacement for the ever popular TDR (the blue one).

Angling Times exclusively reveal that the new reel will be in the shops by the end of November – perhaps you won’t get that naff pen that turns into a fishing rod for Christmas after all!

In terms of enhancements the TD-X moves on from the TDR in a number of ways. The reel now features a push-button release on the spool making changeovers much quicker and trouble free. There’s a new line clip system that’s been inherited from the top-of-the-range Basiair carp reel and a waterproof drag system that’s been developed from another high-end reel, the Certate.
